Wireless MEMS Sound Level Meter

Sister instrument of the Wireless MEMS Vibration Meter is the Wireless MEMS Sound Level Meter with built-in Wifi, precise clock, 16 MB of internal meory and Li-ion battery. The accuracy of the measurements is within the acceptance limits of IEC-61672-1: 2013.

Already customers of the sound level meter, among others: Boers & Co FijnMechanische Industrie, Dura Vermeer, Logoplaste, Constellium, Bouwfysisch Adviesburo Zorn, Koloszaal, Café Sas Rotterdam.

Just like the vibration meter, the sound meter can measure wirelessly and send the data to a server PC or to its cloud storage. The Li-ion battery guarantees five days to a week of continuous noise measurement. We can supply a USB solar panel specially designed for this instrument, which allows the customer to measure the noise for months, even in bad weather.

Software package

Together with the wireless MEMS Sound Level Meter we offer a free software package that includes six programs that have been developed and tested for Windows Vista to 10. The package gives the customer full control over the meter settings, calibration, measurement and data management.

Instrument Manager

The “Instrument Manager” is an essential software of the Sound Level Meter. With it you can:

  • set the parameters of the measurement;
  • calibrate the instrument;
  • start and stop a measurment;
  • set up the wireless features such as email alarms, Cloud reporting etc;
  • manage and download data form the meter.

Please sure that this software is already installed on your pc before connecting the meter to the device. Download the software here.

Instrument Listener

The “Instrument Listener” is essential for the instrument’s wireless functions unless the customer has purchased a Cloud subscription. With this program, your computer works like a server and receives the data sent via a Wi-Fi connection fromthe meter. Make sure the software is installed on your computer before you connect the instrument to the PC. Download the software here.

Community Noise Metrics

The “Community Noise Metrics” is an optional software useful to make calculations after a measurement has been performed, such as CNEL, LDEN, L10, L95 and others. Download the software here.

Autocalculator

The “Autocalculator” is an optional program useful to calculate various statistical descriptors and useful to export the values into Excel (LEQ, Lmin, Lmax, percentiles … etc.). Download the software here.

Frequency response and directivity

The “Frequency response and directivity” is an optional program. Download the software here.
